Adaptive transportation organizations often provide door-through-door services for their clients.
Door-through-door usually means that they will meet the patient at the door of their home, escort them into the vehicle, transport to the destination, then escort the patient through the door of the medical facility. Once at the destination, they will locate a nurse or someone who can take over responsibility for the client.
Disabled transportation may be contracted for medical, community center, and place of employment destinations, in many instances.
