Senior Citizen Services Centers offer support services and a variety of social activities and programs to seniors. Many centers provide participants with referral services when needed, a hot nutritious meal to share with other members of the senior community, and the opportunity to meet, socialize and participate in activities and special events.

Municipal centers often offer transportation to doctor appointments, grocery store and pharmacy, free of charge. For senior citizens who are unable to leave their homes, Meals on Wheels programs are sometimes offered.
